SINDHU RAM, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Why the picture.
The picture was taken at an exhibition at Somerset House in London called ‘Forests for Change’. At the centre were 17 pillars resembling the UN Sustainable Development Goals which aim to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. Whilst we may never achieve a perfect world, these goals should drive us to always do better in order to create a fairer global society.
What I believe in.
I believe that without environmental justice we will not achieve social and racial justice. The decisions made by politicians, businesses and us as individuals need to protect people and the planet.
Why I do what I do.
I love the fact that the work I do empowers individuals to have a voice in the climate conversation and drives impactful climate action.
What I do at Greenhouse.
As a part of the advocacy team, I work on national and international campaigns in the nature, policy and youth space, driving positive change through digital and media support.
