MADELEINE LYNCH, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Why the picture.
My time campaigning has brought me to this very spot at Parliament Square many times. The dual climate and biodiversity crises are catastrophes in which we can all play our part to tackle, but ultimately it is the politicians who withhold the power to change our trajectory. Whether that be by maintaining global temperature increase to under 1.5 degrees or restoring our natural environment, I believe that they can use that power to do what’s right – we just need to push them in the right direction.
What I believe in.
An equal, greener, safer society for all with people and workers at heart.
Why I do what I do.
I work in communications because I believe in the power of people to do the right thing when it comes to climate – we’re better when we work as one. Governments, civil society and businesses alike can all play their part in making a world safer for generations to come.
What I do at Greenhouse.
I’m an Account Executive on the policy and advocacy team. I work alongside fantastic colleagues and clients and work on a range of different campaigns from taking the government to court to showcasing vital climate-related research.
