EMILY GREENWOOD, OFFICE MANAGER
Why the picture.
I’m an advocate for both the mental and physical benefits of the outdoors and the significant role that nature plays in everyday life. In the photo, I’m cycling the Test Valley national cycle trail in Hampshire – this stretch is set alongside a beautiful chalk stream, one of the ecosystems in the UK known for its vibrant and rare aquatic life.
What I believe in.
The natural environment is important to me and I believe we all have a responsibility to protect and nurture it. Every small step that each of us decides to take to reduce our carbon footprint can contributes to a cumulative positive force that will help us preserve the future of the earth. There is no Planet B.
Why I do what I do.
It’s only in the last few years that I’ve really come to understand that our earth’s ecosystems are at critical risk and how much humanity depends on them. Having a realisation that I can contribute to the path to change has led me to work within sustainability and try to do my part in preserving our natural environment.
What I do at Greenhouse.
I’m primarily responsible for the day-to-day running of our lovely Greenhouse offices and I help support the driving force that is our team. I have a genuine love of working with people and am fortunate to be able to work with so many inspiring communicators.
